ONYX Realty Professionals was established in the summer of 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Broker/Owners, Cavelle Mollineaux and Ray Lecky spent the decade mastering their craft and building a name for themselves as sales experts in the Hampton Roads Region.
Both Cavelle and Ray are U.S. Navy veterans who decided to settle in Hampton Roads after serving their time in the Military. After falling in love with the communities, the culture, the people, Virginia beaches and the uniqueness of Tidewater experiences that draws you in and makes you feel like home. Starting out as individual agents in 2010, they quickly rose to Top Producer status which led them to want to build a team to increase their impact, handle all the business that was coming their way and most importantly teach others how to be as successful as they were in Real Estate sales.
After switching brokerages to start their team in 2017 and building it up to as many as 10 agents, over the next 3 years they knew they were onto something special as they became the #1 team at that brokerage for consecutive years in a row. Now since opening those doors with that small team of agents, ONYX has blossomed into a full service brokerage with over 50 agents.
