Dawna is a native of Hampton, VA and has lived in the Hampton Roads area the majority of her adulthood. Her strong connection and involvement within the community exemplifies her love for the area. For the past 25 years, Dawna has worked as a Case Manager for Newport News Human Services and she thoroughly has a passion for helping others find happiness. Her local roots have given her a unique perspective with connecting her clients with community resources. Real Estate has always intrigued Dawna. She feels Real Estate and social work are similar and that they are both morally rewarding careers that provide help and support to the people they serve. Dawna believes she will be able to provide invaluable support to her clients during the process of buying or selling their homes because of her problem-solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills. Active in the community, Dawna is a member of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple Church where she willingly serves as a Stephen Minister Leader and she volunteers in various outreach initiatives in the local area. When Dawna isn’t making homeownership dreams come true for her client’s, she enjoys spending time with her husband, keeping up with the latest restaurants and traveling the world.
